New Colour Phase
Art and Interior Design

We all have a favourite colour and when a colour is in favour it’s everywhere - in our clothes, in our kitchen, in our wall art and in our furniture.
But what do you do when you fall out of favour with a colour and find a new favourite - you’re stuck with all these items in your old favourite colour! If you have furniture or feature walls in this colour, it can be easy enough to reupholster and repaint.
However, to phase in a new colour and phase out an old colour in your kitchen for example, you need to choose some transition colours. For example, if you old favourite was yellow and your new favourite is red, keep the yellow, love the red and add some orange so the contrast of the new and old is subtler.
