Wall Art: Cafe Renaissance II by David Bailey

Print Highlights

I looove light yellow and orange in these kind of paintings! It's interesting that the artist made the blocks of color softer somehow by rounding the corners and blending the edges into the color next to it.

Wall Art Print Details

Hang this piece with the previous painting in the series, or let it stand alone. Notice how all the designs look like they are drawn with crayon and none of them are the same. This gives the eye something interesting to look at besides colors. Notice the one blue arrow looking spot. David Bailey seems to do that a lot; Create one very bright area in his work to draw the eye in. In this particular work, He added some orange toward the top. This color because conveys warmth and adds some spice to the picture.
