This experience was so refreshing after an exhausting hike! Everywhere I looked, water and sun were engaged in an invigorating performance. The glints and sparkles were dancing on the water as if superbly choreographed in an exquisite artistic setting. Foaming from below the rocks, came a soothing white noise roar in the overture of rushing waters accompanied by babbling drips, splatters and splashes, like music from the pit orchestra. The turbulent torrents would heave upward and then outward like the flailing arms of a conductor. Particularly striking, in my opinion, is the way a boulder’s dry ordinary surface will become so beautiful when the daylight shines on it through the cleansing wetness of the river water, like an actor baring his soul.
